Wargaming invites a Senior VFX Artist to join our team in Berlin for a new and still unannounced mobile shooter!
As a Senior VFX Artist, you’ll collaborate with our existing VFX lead in Berlin, as well as our counterparts in Shanghai, primarily dedicated to enhancing and innovating the VFX within our project. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the game’s visual identity and elevating gameplay experiences. Leveraging your VFX proficiency, artistic ingenuity, and creative prowess, you’ll play a key role in realizing the artistic vision of our project while working seamlessly with our global team.
- Utilize Unreal Engine to craft semi-realistic/stylized VFX.
- Design combat effects, skills, environment, and vehicle movement effects, including destructible and other dynamic effects.
- Leverage third-party tools of your choice for textures, atlas sheets, simulations, and mesh creations.
- Use Unreal Engine to design Niagara effects, shaders, Blueprints, and more, to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work independently
- An experienced VFX artist with extensive expertise and excellent communication abilities.
- A proficient artist capable of producing high-quality visuals while prioritizing optimization for mobile platforms.
- A collaborative team member who effectively communicates with developers and designers to deliver impactful VFX solutions.
- Excellent Communication skills in English
- Basic HLSL experience
- Experience in cinematics and UI VFX
